Chakra Tools: Consciousness
"What you say is what you are" is a catchcry that is often bandied
about the schoolyard as a taunt. What a pity! Such negative messages absorbed in
our formative years manifest as limiting beliefs later on. The negative feelings
become self-doubt, self-judgement and self-criticism.
It's ironic that the meaning behind the words were never intended to make
children feel scared to open their mouths. The original phrase was coined by
Buddha - "We are what we think. And that which we are arises with our
thoughts. With our thoughts, we make our world."
Your mind is a super powerful machine - all you need to do is learn how to
drive it. Once you're in the driver's seat it's up to you how much abundance,
love and joy you have in your life. When you can think positively, you can steer
your intentions in a direction that proves beneficial for your highest good.
Learning to reprogram your mind to think positively is the only
tried-and-true way of cancelling out all the random noise that prevents you from
realising your full potential.
Just how much you can transform your life is totally up to your imagination -
literally.
There are three 'Thought Tools' that I focus on in my 7-Day Chakra Workout
for this purpose. These tools are extremely powerful and life-changing. They
complement each other so ideally work with all three at once. The tools are:
Creative Visualisation, Affirmations and Mantras.
